Hello Steamboat Music Fans! We've got so much going on this week we just had to blog about it all. Tonight - Monday, June 15th is Locals Appreciation Night with Me & Ed's Music Machine. Tuesday, June 16th we've got live music with Holden Young Trio and then on Wednesday, June 17th we're thrilled to make a last minute announcement of Reeble Jar from Eugene, Oregon.
A sublime fusion of funk, blues, acid jazz, tribal rhythms and hot breakbeats, Reeble Jar genuinely represents the Pacific Northwest through their unique and original music. Hailing from Eugene, Oregon, these five talented individuals have embarked on a musical mission of groove and unity, intertwining a full spectrum of sound connoisseurs along the way. Seducing a jazz club one night and electrifying a warehouse party the next, Reeble Jar’s dynamic versatility will get any crowd moving. Guaranteed.
Reeble Jar has performed with: Michael Franti & Spearhead, Karl Denson and The Greyboy Allstars, Blackalicious, Kyle Hollingsworth, Michael Travis, Fareed Haque, Radioactive, Garaj Mahal, JJ Grey & Mofro, Blue Turtle Seduction, Pnuma Trio, The Zen Tricksters, The Everyone Orchestra, and shared the stage with many others.
Thursday night is the LAST BURGER NIGHT until fall and we've got live music with Trevor Potter after the grill is turned off.
This weekend we'll be welcoming Steamboat's old favorites Bill Smith and the Brewglass Boys on Friday night, Ben Kinky on Saturday night and The Soul of John Black on Sunday night. I'll blog more about those later on in the week. It's time to get your groove on at the Old Town Pub!
